Multi-Purpose Spaces

OMNIPLAN’s design created shared educational spaces that serve more than one program function. These shared areas also provide teaching and production kitchens that enhance and support the effectiveness of nutrition and chronic disease management efforts, as well as the social enterprise and employment training.

Program Opportunities

The Opportunity Center includes several program components, including a Work Force Development Center, with training, education, job search and technology center that is shared with offices for Work Force Solutions of Greater Dallas. CitySquare also provides a food distribution center, with space for the CDM Food Pantry and a retail grocery outlet, bringing affordable grocery products to the neighborhood. In addition, the center also has a community health and wellness center, with clinical services and a comprehensive wellness education and activity facility, including instructional kitchen and community garden. There is also office space for LIFT, Per Scholas and AmeriCorps.
