Creating Community Greenspace

The expansion is organized around an open lawn that offers a place to gather for community activities and collective leisure. A parking deck provides additional capacity for shoppers. A future power center will expand the box and shop retail offerings to this regional center.

The Expansion

Baybrook Mall has been a prime spot for shoppers in Houston since 1978. The expansion transformed it into a vibrant lifestyle center with dozens of unique enhancements.

Retail Space

Enhancements to Baybrook included 30 new retail tenant spaces and 10 restaurant spaces, all anchored around an open-air multi-purpose lawn.
Community Space

To enhance the shopper's experience at Baybrook and bring them out of the 70's, OMNIPLAN designed the expansion with community in mind. A 285,000 SF multi-purpose lifestyle space, known as The Lawn, is the focal point of the expansion. More than 100 yards long, The Lawn serves as a hub for entertainment and community activities.

Entertainment options like Dave & Busters and Star Cinema Grill add a variety of venues for visitors to explore after shopping or dining at Baybrook Mall.
