Fostering Connection

The Trails Church turned to OMNIPLAN to design a new home after merging with an existing church. The resulting masterplan is centered on fostering community in order to advance the gospel in Collin County. Phase 1 of the masterplan, currently under construction, includes a new 600-seat worship venue, renovations for a children’s education building and a new 2,560 SF community building that will connect these two buildings. This unique project aims to seamlessly integrate the spiritual and communal aspects, creating a space that not only serves as a place of worship but also as a vibrant hub for community engagement.

Advancing the Gospel

Various aspects of the design are meant to allocate spaces for worship, fellowship, education, and community activities. OMNIPLAN focused on designing a versatile worship space that accommodates events and gatherings. Integrate classrooms, meeting rooms, and recreational areas to support community building. Within this new community centric design, OMNIPLAN developed a central area lobby that serves as the heart of community interaction. Furthermore, the designs include a welcoming foyer, communal spaces, and outdoor spaces like courtyards for reflection and communal activities.
